Dave Chen, Board chair

Dave is a Principal and Chairman of Equilibrium Capital, leading the firm’s strategy and product development process. He formed Equilibrium to be a global leader in sustainability-driven asset management for institutional investors that delivered both sustainable alpha and intentional positive impact on our community and environment.

Dave’s passion and commitment to sustainability is a result of his work in venture capital, regional economic development and climate change policy.

Kathy Roland, Board Member

Kathy has spent the past 15 years helping entrepreneurial companies grow and prosper through her work as a Venture Partner at Oak Investment Partners. Kathy participates on a number of food and agricultural task forces and is a judge for the Food/Ag/Beverage division of the MN Cup.  She also currently sits on the board at Revolution Foods. Prior to Oak, Kathy held management positions at Harmon Glass and Target.  She has a BA from Carleton College and an MBA from The Wharton School.  

Laura Brenner Kimes, Co-Founder + Senior Advisor

Laura co-founded Greenprint Partners following a career in high-growth consulting organizations and utilities. She brings over a decade of experience designing and implementing ratepayer-funded sustainability initiatives on behalf of electric, gas, and water utilities. Laura earned her BS in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland – College Park and earned her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Aaron Toppston, Advisor

Aaron is Managing Partner for GS Futures. Aaron has over 14 years of experience in finance, construction, and insurance industries. Aaron previously led both infrastructure investment (P3) for Walsh and analytics across the entire organization. He is a previous founder of Aon Infrastructure Solutions and is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management.
