Jim draws on three decades of experience in the planning, design and construction of municipal infrastructure to lead Greenprint’s civil engineering practice. In addition to overseeing Greenprint’s technical team, Jim develops and manages complex sustainable infrastructure projects and programs for municipal clients across the country.

Jim’s commitment to strong client service and technical quality, combined with a commitment to protecting the health and well-being of community residents and our environment, shapes his approach to project management. Leveraging his expertise in sustainable engineering best practices, Jim navigates relationships with municipal staff, property owners, permitting agencies, sub-consultants, and contractors to ensure project goals are met while maximizing community benefits. 

Jim is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Pennsylvania, New York, Georgia, Vermont, Michigan, and Washington. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University and a M.S. in Environmental Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Jim is based in Greenprint’s Chicago office.
