Lucy Kopchak, EIT, Associate Engineer

Lucy works to support the design and implementation of green infrastructure that is community-driven and helps reduce urban flooding issues. She is passionate about using a multi-benefit approach and brings her technical skills to each unique project.

Lucy has always been fascinated by the complex ways that cities are designed and function, especially growing up near Chicago. She is a creative and big-picture thinker who views green stormwater infrastructure as a piece in a larger puzzle of adapting our built environment to be climate resilient.

Prior to joining Greenprint, Lucy worked as a civil engineer in both the public and private sector with an emphasis on transportation, retail development, and ADA design work. She received her B.S. in Environmental and Ecological Engineering from Purdue University.

Lucy is based in Greenprint’s Chicago office.
