Greenprint Partners Acquires Omni Workshop to Expand Landscape Architecture Capabilities

January 6, 2025 – Greenprint Partners, an award-winning consulting firm specializing in community-based environmental infrastructure, announced its acquisition of Omni Workshop, a full-service landscape architecture and design studio, previously part of Omni Ecosystems. This strategic acquisition marks a significant expansion of Greenprint’s service offerings and strengthens its ability to deliver comprehensive environmental planning and design solutions.

Omni Workshop, known for its innovative approach to landscape architecture and its commitment to sustainability, has been a prominent player in its field in the Midwest since 2016. The studio has garnered both national and regional acclaim for its work within wide ranging project typologies, including floating parks with the Wild Mile, innovative stormwater sponges at the Salt District and a rooftop respite garden at Will’s Garden for Carle Health, among others. The landscape architecture team aligns closely with Greenprint’s mission to build greener, more sustainable communities. The two firms are currently partnering to develop a green infrastructure strategy for the City of Chicago.

“With the acquisition of Omni Workshop, we are thrilled to enhance our portfolio and integrate their landscape architecture expertise with our core services. This combination will enable us to offer a broader range of nature-based solutions to our clients and amplify our impact on communities,” said April Mendez, CEO of Greenprint Partners.

“This move is a pivotal step in our journey towards creating inclusive and sustainable environments that enrich communities and the natural world.”

“I am delighted to have Greenprint Partners — another WBE so closely mission-aligned with Omni — continue this critical work,” said Molly Meyer, Founder & CEO, Omni Ecosystems. “Because we’ve worked with Greenprint for over eight years, this next chapter feels like a natural progression in our partnership.”
