Greenprint supports community anchor organizations in San Francisco to transform their properties with green infrastructure through San Francisco Public Utility Commission’s (SFPUC) Green Infrastructure Grant Program

We are working with five organizations, predominantly schools and congregations, to design and build features that help uplift their community and improve stormwater management onsite. For each project, our team ensures that designs prioritize the benefits that each community cares most about by working closely with church and school leadership at each site. Within this process, we activate the broader communities of congregants, students, and teachers by providing educational workshops, classroom curricula, community celebrations, and communications support.

Each site gets co-designed permanent educational signage to ensure that people accessing the green infrastructure learn about the myriad ways that green infrastructure can help communities thrive.
