A corporate headquarters relocation driven by growth, sustainability, inclusivity + community investment

600 West Chicago is the historic Montgomery Ward Catalog House, located in the city’s River North neighborhood. After Chicago-based developer Sterling Bay purchased the building in 2018, a design team was brought on to renovate the structure and enhance the tenant experience. The renovation also aimed to make the building and surrounding area more welcoming while activating its public plaza.

Greenprint served as landscape architect for the plaza and streetscape. The design improves connections between the new office and retail frontage and the adjacent streetscape. It also includes updated site walls, terraced plantings and built-in wood bench seat walls.
