Anna Jentz

Planner

Chicago

Anna supports Greenprint’s planning team by conducting research and data analysis, writing technical reports and grant proposals, developing maps with GIS, supporting project management, and engaging with community members about their water and greening infrastructure projects. She believes thoughtful, inclusive and collaborative urban planning is essential to building a more resilient and equitable future in the face of climate change.

As a strong empathic listener and analytical thinker, Anna is inspired by the innovative ways that Greenprint can co-create green spaces alongside communities. Her sense of curiosity inspires her to continue learning about the relationships between policy, social structures and the built environment.

Anna has experience in wetland fieldwork, conducting waste audits for small businesses, and advancing community gardens as an Americorps Service member. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy from Loyola University Chicago and is currently pursuing her Master of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
